英语名言：点亮蜡烛，而不是咒骂黑暗

「希望由以下方式呈现：它寻找人们美好的一面，而不是不停地谈论最坏的部份。它发现可以完成的事，而不是抱怨不能完成的事。它把问题，无论大或小，当作是机会。当放弃比较容易时，它推你向前。它『点亮?烛』，而不是『咒骂黑暗』。」– 无名氏

第一句里的 “works” 这里是「运行、运作」的意思，但翻为「呈现」通顺一点。”harp” 是「不停地谈论；唠叨」，”grumble” 是「咕哝；发牢骚」，”push ahead” 是「向前推进；毅然推行」，”it pushes ahead” 实际原文里没有「你」，但中文翻为「它推你向前」比较通顺，”when it would be easy to quit” 原文里没有比较级，但中文翻成「当放弃比较容易时」比较通顺。”curse” 是「咒骂」的意思。
