「我的商业榜样是披头四：他们是四个人互相监督制衡彼此的负面性格；他们彼此相互平衡。而总成就比个别加起来的效益还要大。商业里伟大的事从来不是由一个人所完成，它们是由一个团队所完成。」

tendency (n.) 是「性格的倾向」，如：criminals with aggressive or anti-social tendencies (有攻击或反社会倾向的犯人。) the total is greater than the sum of the parts 是指「总效益比个别加起来所预期得到的还要更多」。
